Project owner: Pilsen Region, The Education for Competitiveness Operational Programme (ECOP)

Duration: 3/2013–1/2015

Description and goals: The main goal of the project was to expand the offer of further education through creating a pilot educational course aimed at people who meet in their practice with CAN syndrome (Child Abuse and Neglect) and by that increased their expertise and competitiveness. It was a further educational course formed on the needs of our four target groups: nurses, social workers in OSPOD (departments of social and law protection of children, similar like CPS), social workers in crisis centers or low-threshold centers and criminal investigators. Learning materials and outlines were created by professionals who know theory and practice of target groups in work with CAN syndrome or they work with it themselves. Partner of the project was the Jan Amos Komensky University
