Social services tend to active support of people persistence in natural environment and to development of their natural social links. Suitably provided social services are basic presumption of high-quality, dignified and free life, they respect and support equal access to education, work and other civic and personal exercise. Social services belong to public services.

Support of the development of community social services encourage not only social cohesion of community, but in conditions of rural micro region SOK they can be one of the important sources of new jobs.

Within the reform of public administration competences in the field of providing social services will be delegated to local government. Description of present state, finding inhabitants needs in the field of social services are important instrument for development of new forms of social services for persons, who are danger with social exclusion, i. e. review target groups – seniors, mothers with small children, persons with social and health handicap, unemployed persons.

The project will establish „start line“ for working community plan of social services according to preparing methodology of Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

Integral part of these activities is creation of partnership between public administration, social services providers and social services users.

Project objectives are following:

1. support of local communities to think about long-term potential their areas,
2. improvment of life quality in rural areas,
3. support of implementation new strategies for sustainable development in the field of improvement organizational community abilities,
4. support of partnership between different subjects.
