{"id":1046,"date":"2016-10-01T09:44:41","date_gmt":"2016-10-01T07:44:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ireas.cz\/?post_type=projekty&#038;p=1046"},"modified":"2023-01-31T10:47:30","modified_gmt":"2023-01-31T09:47:30","slug":"supporting-general-executive-and-practical-teaching-of-students-in-gastronomy","status":"publish","type":"projekty","link":"https:\/\/www.ireas.cz\/en\/projekty\/supporting-general-executive-and-practical-teaching-of-students-in-gastronomy\/","title":{"rendered":"Supporting general, executive and practical teaching of students in gastronomy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main objective of the project was\u00a0to strengthen the executive and practical education of students in high school specializations without graduation by increasing student motivation to education and improving practical skills with an emphasis on students\u2019 fulfilment in their future employment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project consisted\u00a0of two interconnected activities \u2013 a cycle of workshops and executive and practical weeks. The cycle of workshops assumes the form of two intersecting parts \u2013 executive skills and practical education. It will be implemented as twelve workshops in total and their objective is to develop executive skills and expand students\u2019 practical fulfilment. The workshops will encompass, among other things, an organised all-day seminar, for example courses on molecular gastronomy, seafood, traditional Czech cuisine, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong style=\"font-weight: 800;\">Conclusions of the project:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The best students were\u00a0selected based on the tasks and activities and they participated in the executive and practical weeks. The assumed participation was\u00a0about 15\u201340% for the best students. The purpose of the executive and practical weeks was\u00a0to create after-school activities aimed at developing key competencies and especially the students\u2019 practical skills. The executive and practical weeks were each a five-day event for 25 students from four schools. The executive week was\u00a0focused on development of students\u2019 skills with regard to their practical fulfilment (communication, teamwork, employment, etc.). The practical week was\u00a0focused on the students\u2019 practical skills in gastronomy (special seminars, e.g., work with modern technologies, preparation of game, fish and seafood, etc.).
