The main goal of the project was to improve the job opportunities of pupils and students living in children’s homes by improving their language skills. This was made possible by the development of an extracurricular English language course as an educational interest activity.<\/p>\n
The course was developed for and adapted to the special educational needs of the target group \u2013\u00a0 children and young people staying in institutions of institutional and protective education, i.e., middle school pupils, secondary school students, and\/or students of higher professional schools living in three children’s homes in the \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem district. The secondary target group was the teaching staff mediating the course.<\/p>\n
