{"id":1114,"date":"2017-08-14T11:35:55","date_gmt":"2017-08-14T09:35:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ireas.cz\/?post_type=projekty&#038;p=1114"},"modified":"2022-06-13T11:36:13","modified_gmt":"2022-06-13T09:36:13","slug":"assessment-of-environmental-impact-of-agri-environment-climate-measures-using-the-concept-of-public-goods","status":"publish","type":"projekty","link":"https:\/\/www.ireas.cz\/en\/projekty\/assessment-of-environmental-impact-of-agri-environment-climate-measures-using-the-concept-of-public-goods\/","title":{"rendered":"Assessment of environmental impact of agri-environment-climate measures using the concept of public goods"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>IREAS carried out a part of this project aimed at creating a theoretical analysis and research on the subject of asessing the effects of agri-environmental-climate measures on the environment using the concept of public goods.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The subject of the public contract was to produce documents and propose approaches for the evaluation of the impacts of agri-environment measure M10 (&#8220;AEM&#8221;) as one of the most important measures of the Rural Development Programme, to which more than one quarter of the Programme budget is allocated \u2013 especially for the sub-measure: 1 \u2013 Integrated fruit production, M 10.1.2 \u2013 Vegetables, M 10.1.3 \u2013 Grapes, M 10.1.4 \u2013 Treatment of grasslands, M 10.1.5 \u2013 Grassing of arable land and others. Part of the contract is to define potential impacts on public goods (e.g., landscape, biodiversity, environmental improvements, leisure activities, etc.). Next, it was to define the benefits that a society derives from financing the above list of measures using the concept of assessing the provision of public goods (&#8220;PB&#8221;) and ecosystem services (&#8220;ESS&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Conclusions of the project:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In\u00a0this order, IREAS provided two components of the solution. Firstly, we devised a theoretical framework for the use of the PB concept for environmental impact assessment of AEM (using selected ESS relevant to agriculture).
