The project will be implemented in 2026\u20132028 and will run in two annual cycles. Activities will be carried out in three regions: Prague, the Central Bohemian Region and the \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem Region.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Support for up to 40 young people \u2013 20 participants per year<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project targets young people from the <strong>NEET group<\/strong>, i.e. individuals who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>are not employed,<\/li>\n<li>are not enrolled in any education programme, and<\/li>\n<li>are not participating in vocational training or requalification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the <strong>first year (2026\u20132027)<\/strong>, the project will support <strong>20 young people from Prague and the Central <\/strong><strong>Bohemian Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>second year (2027\u20132028)<\/strong>, support will be provided to <strong>20 young people from the \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>From each group of twenty participants, <strong>8 individuals will be selected for an eight-week international work placement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining participants will take part in <strong>parallel support activities in the Czech Republic<\/strong>, which represent a <strong>full-value alternative to international mobility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>International work placements \u2013 Portugal and Ireland<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>International work placements are the <strong>core element of the ALMA methodology<\/strong> and for many participants represent their <strong>first real work experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the <strong>first year<\/strong>, placements will take place in <strong>Portugal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>second year<\/strong>, participants will travel to <strong>Ireland<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each placement will last <strong>8 weeks<\/strong>, will take place in <strong>groups of 8 participants<\/strong>, and will be organised in cooperation with <strong>verified international partner organisations<\/strong>. Participants will be supported by a <strong>local mentor<\/strong>, a <strong>mentor from the Czech Republic<\/strong>, and professional staff throughout their adaptation and the entire work experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parallel support in the Czech Republic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participants who do not take part in the international placement will receive <strong>intensive, individually tailored support in the Czech Republic<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>mentoring and coaching focused on motivation, planning next steps and developing work habits,<\/li>\n<li>psychological support and crisis intervention, where needed,<\/li>\n<li>cooperation with labour market specialists, CV preparation, interview training and job search support,<\/li>\n<li>requalification courses based on an Individual Education and Development Plan (IEDP),<\/li>\n<li>practical work experience in the Czech Republic lasting at least <strong>14 days<\/strong>, adapted to participants\u2019 capacities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Parallel support is a <strong>full-value alternative to international mobility<\/strong>, aiming to strengthen participants\u2019 competencies, stability and employability and to support their transition into employment or further education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why is this support important?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Within the ALMA initiative, the managing authority states that:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cInternational mobility is a key element enabling young people without work experience to acquire new skills, motivation and self-confidence, thereby significantly improving their employability.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the programme emphasises the need to:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>support young people who are not in employment or education through intensive mentoring, psychological support and links to real job opportunities.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These principles form the foundation of the Experience Without Borders project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project team:<\/strong> Hana Matou\u0161kov\u00e1, Jitka \u0160eflov\u00e1<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","kategorie_projekt":[25],"class_list":["post-4866","projekty","type-projekty","status-publish","hentry","kategorie_projekt-education-and-social-policy"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ireas.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projekty\/4866","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ireas.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projekty"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ireas.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projekty"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ireas.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4866"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"kategorie_projekt","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ireas.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/kategorie_projekt?post=4866"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
