The project aims to strengthen the capacities of educators and other trainers working with seniors and vulnerable groups. It seeks to improve their skills in inclusive education, digital literacy, and building social resilience through the Empowerment Self Defense methodology. At the same time, the project will support seniors in developing communication skills, setting boundaries, practicing safe behavior, and navigating the digital environment through training sessions and pilot workshops.

The project includes the creation of an educational toolkit (Edu-Toolkit), digital materials, and e-learning resources applicable in both face-to-face and online teaching. It also involves international cooperation, knowledge sharing, and testing of educational materials in real-life settings.

Key Project Activities

KA1: Development of Educators’ Competencies and Inclusive Education
Within this key activity, the Edu-Toolkit concept and methodological materials will be created, and
a Train-the-Trainer program will take place in the Czech Republic. Twelve educators/trainers (three from each partner organization) will complete the training, gaining skills for inclusive teaching of seniors, working with vulnerable groups, and using digital tools in face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats. The goal is to strengthen educators’ ability to provide a safe, respectful, and accessible learning environment for seniors.

KA2: Creation and Pilot Testing of Educational Materials
A comprehensive Edu-Toolkit will be developed, including teaching materials, lesson plans, digital resources, and additional supporting materials for senior education. Each organization will organize three pilot workshops with seniors in its country (Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia). A total of 120 seniors will participate, helping to test and evaluate the prepared educational materials. The outputs will include four case studies summarizing best practices, benefits, and lessons learned from the pilot phase.

KA3: Dissemination of Results and Project Sustainability
The project outputs will be disseminated through multiplier events, online campaigns, short videos, and an e-learning platform. A total of 40 informational posters and eight videos will be produced to showcase the use of the Edu-Toolkit and best practices in working with seniors. All results will be available in Czech, English, Polish, and Croatian. The project will conclude with an international conference in Croatia.
